Noche de Gala Preview

The mask was lifted and we got a sneak peak of a masquerade ball that will serve as a major fundraiser for the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation.

The theme of this year's 2009 Noche de Gala is a Venetian masquerade ball. It will take place on a 642 acre horse ranch in Micanopy on October 3.

Along with court jesters, strolling musicians and an orchestra- you can also enjoy a horse show. The event will be headlined by Ted Keegan, who recently starred in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.

Tickets are $250 a piece and can be purchased at www.nochedegala.org. The Sebastian Ferrero Foundation was formed after young Sebastian Ferrero died as the result of a medical mistake at Shands. Their goals is to bring a state-of-the-art children's hospital to Gainesville.
