The Noche de Gala serves as Magellan's premier Spring fundraiser. The funds raised during the event go directly to our Annual Operating Budget and support programs and services that make our school unique. Events around the gala include:

1. The Live Event -  April 11, 2026 - a ticketed fundraising program celebrating our community and what makes Magellan unique. This will include dinner, live auction, and dancing. 

2. An online silent auction will be open for bidding from April 3rd until April 11th for anyone who wants to participate, regardless of whether they can join the live event.

The Junior League of Austin, 5330 Bluffstone Ln, Austin, TX 78759. This venue offers complimentary parking. 

For those looking for an elevated experience, VIP tables are available for $3,500. These tables seat 10 people in a prime location, bringing you right up close to the excitement of the evening!

Tickets are available for $325 per person, which includes a cocktail reception, delicious three-course dinner, open bar, and a memorable evening of programming! Reserved tables are available for a discounted price of $2,750. 

Don't know who to sit with? Just select your preferred grade and we will do our best to seat you with other families from your child's grade! This is a great way to connect with other families, make new friends, and enjoy the evening together.

Our One World (Un Mundo) celebration is a festive, elevated event inspired by the global spirit of the World Cup—where cultures from around the world come together as one. We invite you to dress in formal or semi-formal attire that celebrates your heritage, culture, or country of origin.

Think elegant evening wear with a cultural twist—traditional garments, formal national dress, or modern attire inspired by your roots are all welcome. This is a night of unity, pride, and celebration through fashion, music, and dance.

Note: We encourage guests to wear traditional cultural attire that authentically represents their own heritage. Please avoid costumes or outfits that portray cultures not your own. Our goal is to celebrate the beauty of the world’s cultures with respect, inclusivity, and joy.

For your convenience, we highly recommend using a Rideshare service to get to the event. There is a complimentary parking garage conveniently located on the Junior League venue. 

Yes! We’re thrilled to have our faculty and staff join us for the Gala. A limited number of free tickets are available through teacher ticket sponsorships. Teachers interested in attending can sign up to enter a raffle for the available seats.

Sponsorship opportunities are a key part of making the Noche de Gala a success! Your support directly helps underwrite the event, ensuring that we can continue to provide vital programs for our school community. As a sponsor, you’ll receive exclusive marketing opportunities both online, in print, and in-person. Some sponsorship levels even include a reserved table for you and your guests at the event.

The entire community is invited to participate in the online auction. Feel free to share it with friends and family! The auction is open from Friday, April 3rd - Saturday, April 11th, offering a wide variety of exciting items including:

• Vacations

• Tickets to Austin’s top events

• Class artwork

• Fun Events hosted by Teachers and Magellan Parents

6:00 PM – Opening kickoff with a cocktail reception

7:00 PM – Seated dinner, program, and live auction

9:30 PM – Final whistle blows and the dance floor comes alive with the DJ 

At the live event, you’ll have the chance to participate in our Heads or Tails game, a fun and exciting way to get in on the action. Here’s how it works:

• For a $50 buy-in, you get to pick whether a coin the host flips will land on heads or tails..

• If it lands on your choice, you’ll move on to the next round.

• Keep going as long as you’re lucky—and if you’re the last one standing, you’ll win a fabulous prize!

This year’s prize will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

Stay tuned as we will be announcing the raffle prizes soon! The raffle drawing will take place during the Gala on April 11, 2026, and you do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will be available for $50 each.

IF I CAN'T ATTEND, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

Yes, absolutely! There are many ways you can still be involved, even if you can’t attend in person:

• Attend a parent-hosted party

• Donate your time or goods

• Participate in the online silent auction

Grandparents are warmly invited to attend the Noche de Gala and are also encouraged to participate in the online silent auction. It’s a great way for them to be involved in the celebration, even if they can’t attend in person.

Our Gala is strictly for adults 21 and up due to venue restrictions.
